Tecnical Engineering in Sound and Image in Telecommunication

Polytechnic School. University of Alicante.

This project was born with the intention of studying and analyzing the part of the sound design that tries to portray the sounds present in nature and our daily life. The synthesis of this type of sounds presents great complexity. For this reason, the technique most used to achieve this level of realism has been the digitalization of samples and their subsequent manipulation and editing. The design of sound in audiovisual environments shows very specific characteristics that make it extremely complex for designers who are not connoisseurs of this discipline. In addition, the competitiveness needs of the audiovisual industry have made the sound heard in films and video games exceed the limits of a realistic vision and try to get textures and sound forms increasingly complex.
