Design and implementation of a digitally controlled analog drum machine

A drum machine is a musical instrument capable of composing, programming and playing rhythm patterns with the help of a sequencer and a percussive sound generator and a series of filters. We can speak of an analog drum machine when the sound generator is a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO). This project aims to transfer knowledge from subjects such as Digital Electronics, Digital Sound Synthesis and Digital Electronic Systems to the implementation of a musical instrument widely used today.
