Grado en Ingeniería en Sonido e Imagen en Telecomunicación
The aim of this project is to develop a fully functional subtractive synthesizer that can be used in audio applications, in any field, thanks to a simple interface that facilitates and speeds up the work dynamics. On the other hand, the aim is to delve a little deeper into the world of synthesis, a sector that is constantly evolving, as well as to reinforce the knowledge obtained in audio and synthesis throughout the degree. During the first part, the efforts were focused on studying all the required knowledge as well as reviewing and reinforcing the previously acquired contents. At the same time, two essential tools were learned to handle for the proper development of the project: the Csound programming language in charge of coding the mechanism of operation of the synthesizer and the Cabbage graphical interface to enable interaction with the different parts of it.
